Mahalo for the opportunity to serve as your Honolulu City Councilmember representing District 1, from ʻEwa to Kaʻena Point. I was first sworn into office in January 2021 and am honored to be serving my second and final term on the City Council.
Before joining the Council, I served four years in the Hawaiʻi State House of Representatives, representing the communities from Kalaeloa to Māʻili. Today, District 1 spans three State Senate districts, five State House districts, and serves one of the largest populations of any council district on Oʻahu.
Our office is committed to raising the standard of public service through collaboration, accountability, and results. Every initiative, policy proposal, and community project is guided by that commitment.
None of this work happens alone. Lasting progress is only possible because of the residents, neighborhood leaders, businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations who continue to advocate for the future of West Oʻahu. Mahalo for being part of that effort.
